Is my property eligible for short-term rentals in NYC?
Not all buildings in NYC qualify – but many do, especially smaller buildings with less than four units, We’ll run a full eligibility check for you, based on your building type, zoning, and city laws. We don’t guess-we verify.

In most NYC residential buildings, short-term rental under 30 days require the host to be physically present, according to Local Law 18. This means that you, or a designated host, must be living in the unit during the guest’s stay.


However, there are important exptions.

  • 1-2 family homes where the host lives in one of the units may be eligible for entire-unit rental.
